Neil O’Neil Anderson grew up on a farm, so getting his hands dirty has always come naturally. Before transitioning to the gardening world full-time, he spent years as a professional musician and still performs under the name Neil O’Neil in Nashville — proof that creativity doesn’t stop at the garden gate. Somewhere between farm rows and guitar strings, he fell hard for plants and horticulture, turning a lifelong interest into a career rooted in curiosity, experimentation and growth.

A Tennessee Master Gardener with more than 20 years of hands-on gardening experience and 11 years in the horticulture industry, Neil has worked across garden retail and plant production, giving him a practical, real-world perspective on how plants succeed — and how people connect with them. He and his wife run a small cut flower farm out of their backyard, where the lessons are constant and the blooms are seasonal.
